Morson are recruiting exclusively for our Aerospace client who require a Metrology Fitter at their site in the Avonmouth.Our client is a global company invested in shaping the future of flight and developing technologies to make aircraft fly further, faster and greener.You could be part of this innovative business!Full training will be provided for this rolePurpose:Metrology operator will be responsible for perform Metrology measurements inline SAP phases, Datum structure & Health & Safety requirements, review results and understand any errors make sure they are genuine.Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

A good engineering problem solver.
Ability to use Microsoft Window packages – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint etc.
Understanding of CAD software
Be able to follow high standard and not deviate away from processes
Able to work in small teams & by themselves
Methodical worker & happy to learn new skills
A good Knowledge production flow in Western Approach.
Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings
Knowledge of aircraft bonded assemblies / composite materials.
Understanding of aircraft drawings, limits and quality systems.
Self motivated and with good communication skills across all levels.
Embrace lean manufacture, waste reduction and improvement initiatives.
Work in accordance with Health & Safety requirements, including relevant risk, COSHH and safe systems of work.
Undertake training in advanced composite assembly techniques & processes.
First party certification to be allocated following successful completion of relevant training.
