GROUP OPERATIONS AND GETDIn the last years, significant work has been done to digitize AXA’s business model so far. Nevertheless, due to massive technological changes, customers’ expectations and behaviors have evolved significantly. The opportunities offered by data and technologies are massive both for our traditional insurance business and for new services to achieve our Payer to Partner ambition. Group Operations sets the tone and must play its role as one of the major catalysts of AXA’s transformation. We are the ones triggering and empowering the evolution of our insurance business model through technology and innovation, driving its concrete implementation globally at speed, with a high quality of advisory and execution. Data & AI are at the core of the 2024-2026 AXA Strategy. Within Group Operations, the Group Emerging Technology and Data (GETD) team explores and scales the value of data and emerging technologies with the potential to disrupt the current insurance business model and to shape future opportunities in order to better partner in our customers’ lives.GROUP DATA TEAMWithin GETD, the Group Data department aims to:
  • Define the ambition and strategy on Data for the AXA Group as part of the overall Tech, Data &
  • Operations Strategy
  • Ideate, prototype, co-fund and develop initiatives (PoCs, PoVs, Pilots) and business projects on business challenges applying Data in collaboration and co-creation with entities and strategic partners,
  • Develop knowledge and define best practices, functional/technical frameworks, toolboxes, standards, blueprints on Data
  • Facilitate communities on Data both internally in AXA as well as externally; challenge and support business communities on their ambition to leverage Data
  • Drive data governance, monitor maturity progress and provide guidelines and hands-on support to enhance on all aspects related to Data to Entities, Markets and Group
The domains on which the department brings leadership, expertise and community management are:
  • Data & AI Strategy, as the overarching umbrella, through governance involving Chief Data &
  • Analytics Officers, Business Leaders, COO/CIOs, Compliance/Risk/Security
  • Data & AI Culture, through a collaboration with the HR and Communication functions as well as
  • Business Leaders, leveraging the community of local Heads of Data Culture
  • Data Management, covering Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Documentation, Data Risks, leveraging the local Heads of Data Management Offices, evolving to integrate AI – and GenAI
  • Data & AI Products, covering in 24-26 the design, orchestration and delivery of Data & AI Product across AXA entities and Group, unlocking the access to data & AI across domains (by design siloed).
Note: the AI Research and Engineering functions are covered by 2 other GETD departments.PURPOSE OF THE JOBThe Data & AI “TRANSFORM” program (Tech, Data & Operations Strategy - Pillar 2) aims at scaling Data & AI solutions across entities with a primary focus on technical and operational excellence.As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of the program (“1+4+4” structure):
  • 1 governance/oversight function: planning, KPIs/deliverables, budget/resources, risks, vendor management, communication
  • Contribution and performance of 4 “dissemination Squads” (Pricing in P&C Retail, Claims in P&C
  • Retail, Underwriting in Commercial Lines, and Claims in Health), connected with Global Business
  • Communities (nb: each squad is led by a project manager)
  • Contribution and performance of 4 “enablers”: Data & AI Products, Data & AI Governance, Data & AI Culture, AI Industrialization.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive program plan, including timelines, resources, and deliverables.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of the program, providing regular updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders regarding milestones, challenges, and opportunities for improvement; prepare the Steering Committees involving Management Committee level members.
  • Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders from GO/Finance/Architecture/IT
  • Products/Procurement/GETD, Global (Business) Communities, GIE and entities to ensure alignment with program objectives and secure necessary support for successful implementation.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of the program on scalability and technical excellence.
  • · Manage Risks and ensure a Continuous Improvement.
QualificationsEXPECTED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Senior Project Manager, with extensive knowledge of and experience, in large complex organizations
  • Ability to choose appropriate tools within Project Management practices (e.g., PM Body of Knowledge)
  • Ability to communicate to, mobilize, and coordinate a network of stakeholders from various backgrounds, starting at senior executive level.
  • Intellectual curiosity, and taste for innovation, insurance business acumen
  • Ability to see the big picture as well as deep dive into details when necessary, applying Systems Thinking
  • · Team player in a multi-cultural work environment
  • English - Fluent in speaking and writing
