We are currently recruiting for an Operational Data Analyst to join our highly successful client in the Bingham area of Nottingham.About the ClientOur client is one of the UK's largest Industrial and Commerce companies, operating with a network of over 75 distributors and sourcing products from over 120 suppliers worldwide.Position OverviewThe Operational Data Analyst is responsible for the meticulous monitoring, analyzing, and reporting of operational data related to our digital advertising campaigns. This role demands a high level of precision and dedication to ensure data accuracy and to support operational efficiency.Pay and Benefits
  • Starting salary of £26,000 - £30,000 per annum.
  • 9:00am – 17:00pm Monday – Friday.
  • 33 Days Annual Leave (including Bank Holiday) pro rata
  • Full training provided.

  • This is a full time office based role
Key Responsibilities
  • Parse search term lists to identify and suggest negative keywords to improve campaign efficiency.
  • Conduct daily analysis of advertising campaign data, including spend, clicks, conversions, and keyword performance
  • Review and report on campaign level spend versus sales, ensuring all data aligns with operational goals.
  • Monitor campaign performance and flag any issues related to budget deviations, return on ad spend (ROAS), or technical discrepancies.
  • Maintain and update daily, weekly, and monthly reports for operational review.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of operational procedures to enhance data accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the PPC Manager and other team members to support campaign optimisation and operational improvements.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and Excel.
  • Basic understanding of digital advertising platforms and metrics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to present data in a clear and understandable manner.
