About the RoleYou will be working as a clinician in APATT, the community aged mental health team and will be responsible for comprehensive psychiatric assessment and treatment.You will be visiting clients at home, providing intake and triage, crisis support, assessment and case management, reviewing risk and providing support to reduce impact of illness and enhance independence to our clients and carers in a variety of community and residential settings.You will provide discipline specific support and advice to the team. We utilise a cooperative and recovery-focused approach across the continuum of care to achieve optimal outcomes for consumers.Classifications for this position will range from Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 4 NP75 - NP77 ($110,80 - $115,850 per annum pro rata)Your Contribution
  • Relevant degree or postgraduate qualifications
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • 2 years post qualification clinical experience within Mental Health and/or aged care clinical services including case management and care coordination experience
  • Demonstrated passion for achieving the best clinical practice
  • Relevant knowledge of the Victorian Mental Health Act 2014 and other relevant legislation such as the new Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022
  • Current National Criminal History Check, or willing to obtain

About the Mental Health TeamSt Vincent’s is proud of its International reputation for delivery of Mental Health Services and the values of St Vincent Health Australia. SVHM Mental Health service consists of a variety of inpatient, specialist and community programs and utilises a strengths/recovery orientated approach.
