We are currently recruiting for a Site Engineer with Geotechnical experience to join their company for a field-based role in the North of England and Scotland areas.About You:
  • You will be an experienced Site Engineer within Geotechnical or Geoenvironmental areas.
  • Your experience will include ground investigations.
  • You will hold a BSc or similar qualification within either Geotechnical or Geoscience or Geoenvironmental.
  • You will hold CSCS or SSSTS or IOSH qualifications. You will hold a full UK driving licence.
What you will be doing:
This is a site-based position that is primarily based on the England / Scotland border and working on a major energy infrastructure project that includes remotes areas in this countryside. You will be undertaking ground investigations and ensuring working is carried out to a high standard, while ensuring all H&S standards and documentation is in place for activities also. Working with the client and contractors you will help supervisor drilling work and testing.This position will be based from their office in North Yorkshire, however anyone living in Northern England or the Borders area will be well placed for the work needed. You will be provided access to a Pool Vehicle to enable travel to and from site for this work and as mentioned, some of this will be in remote areas.What you can expect in return:
The salary for this position is between £28,500 and £32,750 and will be based on experience and suitability for the role. On top of this is a range of other excellent benefits.
