We have an amazing opportunity for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team at Bracknell Urgent Care Centre and grow in knowledge and experience alongside our local and extended team of clinicians.Preferably you would be an Advanced Practitioner with evidence of MSc level education, ideally in Advancing Practice/Health Assessment/ Decision Making / Minor Illness or Injury. Nevertheless, we would also consider applications from clinicians working towards these qualifications or an experienced nurse practitioner within a minor injury or illness/emergency department/primary care setting or who is willing to develop towards advanced level practice.You will be supported by a wide network of peers across the group, and will receive training and professional coaching to support with your own growth; allowing you to thrive in your new role.Working within their defined scope of practice, the post holder works as an autonomous Practitioner to assess, diagnose and plan care for patients; including prescribing of medications where qualified to do so, and where clinically indicated.What we're looking for
  • First Level registered Nurse (NMC, ECP), or ACP
  • MSc in advanced Clinical Practice or Relevant ANP courses at level 6 or 7, or equivalent in Advanced Physical Assessment skills, Minor Illness, disease management, etc.
  • A Non-medical prescribing qualification
  • Evidence of continued professional development.
  • Satisfactory DBS clearance
  • Experience of managing acute undifferentiated presentations (desirable)
  • Ability to triage (desirable)
  • Understanding of autonomous practice within a minor illness/urgent care centre and the roles that deliver this
