- Develop and manage relationships with key accounts, delivering the core strategic and mutually agreed objectives.
- Identify and implement growth opportunities within the existing key accounts.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and provide excellent customer service.
- Analysing sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborating with the sales team to drive sales and meet targets.
- Preparing sales reports and presentations for management.
- Attending industry events and conferences to represent the company.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends and market developments.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Coordinating with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met.
- Negotiating contracts and terms with customers.
- Providing regular updates and reports on customer accounts.
- Ability to travel to meet with key accounts as required.
- Coming from an allied or similar sector, you will have experience working in/with wholesalers or merchants in a national sales or key account manager role
- Knowledge of contracts in the market place including pricing and rebate
- An understanding and management of strategic processes
- Ability to analyse and interpret sales data
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- A customer-focused approach and excellent relationship-building skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and sales growth
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
