In this role you'll have the opportunity to explore your passion for education, assisting students aged 4-11 and contributing to their social, emotional, and academic growth. If you possess experience working with children or have a background in caregiving, a teaching assistant role might be the ideal next stride for you. Responsibilities:
  • Work with learners on a 1:1 or small group basis
  • Be a positive role model in the classroom
  • Support the class teacher with preparing resources and learning activities
  • Build positive relationships with staff, learners and their families
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members
  • Bring your best self to work every day
Requirements:
  • A genuine passion for working with children and promoting a love of learning
  • Grade C or above (or equivalent) in GCSE Maths and English
  • Experience working with children or in a childcare setting
  • A positive attitude and strong communication skills
  • Confidence and motivation to direct individuals/small groups with their learning
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or a willingness to obtain one)
  • Work eligibility in UK (No sponsorship will be provided)
