Quality Engineer Specialist - Rail and Transit

- Supporting a Quality Manager in successful implementation of the QMS Program from RFP creation through project acceptance, of transit projects.
- Training participants on the Clients QMS Program.
- Attend project progress meetings.
- Coordinate identification, input, and maintenance of Clients' requirements within the PAR-PRO® software modules.
- Organize data structure for collection of quality data to support effective reporting and acceptance.
- Identify and lead Management System Audits and Assessments.
- Initiate and manage Corrective Actions and Program Lessons Learned.
- Prepare Monthly and Quarterly Quality reports.
- Support ISO 9001 Certification.
- 4-year degree in a related engineering discipline is required.
- Typically, incumbents have at least 15 years or more of related experience in design and construction, and at least three years in quality management oversight.
- Experienced Engineering with strong knowledge of Rail & Transit Projects.
- Requires a working knowledge of quality management and systems engineering processes, as well as some familiarity with industry practices.
- Familiarity of the ISO 9001 Standard
