Job Description:The responsibilities of the Structural Designer shall include, but are not limited to, those contained in the following statements:3D modelling using E3D/Tekla for steel structures. Thorough working experience in Tekla require.Draught & check detailed design drawings of civil and structural such as Structural steel framing plans, detailed structural drawingsReview materials take-offs and bill of materials. Ensure that the quantities are within budget and any changes are documented with approval from Lead Engineer/ Project manager.Model secondary steel, grating and connections in Tekla and extract 2D drawings fit for fabrication.Participate in reviewing and checking designs, drawings and data from other parties/execution officesManage drawings and records to demonstrate procedural compliance with QA activities for internal reviewsEstablish good working relationships and communication with discipline leads, department managers and clients.Adhere to the HSE requirements stipulated by Company/ClientsUndertake any other general duties that may be requested. The list of duties is not exhaustive in any way and may change at any time.QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:Diploma in Civil engineering from an accredited university or equivalentExperience in similar position working for EPC Onshore Oil & Gas projectsAbility to demonstrate previous experience in the use of AutoCAD/Microstation 2D/ TeklaAbility to demonstration 3D Modelling experience using TekhlaA basic understanding of constructability, operability and maintainability requirementsStrong knowledge of civil and structural design standards used in the industryDisplay a working knowledge of industry standard drafting practicesVerbal and written communication using English is compulsoryAbility to work in a multi-cultural team environmentProficiency with MS Office applicationsStrong work ethic and proactive drive to deliver projects within scheduleEnsure deliverables meet strict quality standardsMaintaining the highest levels of Health and SafetyEXPERIENCE:Minimum of 9-12 years of work experience in the Oil & Gas industry with at least 5 years in similar position.
