- Define and prioritize product features based on customer feedback, market research, and business priorities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of product goals and objectives.
- Create and maintain the product backlog, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritization.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of product increments.
- Provide clear direction and guidance to development teams, ensuring alignment with product vision and strategy.
- Make decisions regarding feature scope, trade-offs, and prioritization to optimize value delivery.
- Conduct user acceptance testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve product features.
- Monitor and analyze key product metrics to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Support the Learning team to produce training and education materials for internal and external upskilling where required.
- Communicate product status, updates, and priorities to stakeholders and leadership.
- Work with the Senior Product Manager or Product Director to prioritise the detailed product backlog, working with technical teams to ensure sprint-level releases are aligned to the strategic product roadmap.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role, preferably in a technology or software development environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to translate business needs and user requirements into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Experience with product management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to inform product decisions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred)
