So that to support the plan, we are seeking a talented and experienced Finance Business Analyst to join our consulting team. As a Consultant in this role, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making for our clients. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives, assess financial performance, and develop innovative solutions to enhance financial processes and systems. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of financial data, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to identify key trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Business Insights: Interpret financial information to provide valuable insights and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management, to support strategic decision-making. Forecasting and Budgeting: Assist in the development of financial forecasts and budgets by analyzing historical data, market trends, and business drivers. Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial performance and evaluate the effectiveness of business initiatives. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance efficiency, and optimize resource allocation. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Operations, and IT, to understand business requirements and ensure alignment of financial initiatives with organizational goals. Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients by providing expert financial advice, delivering high-quality analyses, and presenting findings in a clear and concise manner. Industry Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in finance and business analysis to continuously improve expertise and deliver innovative solutions. In practice this means: 4+ overall work experience as a Finance Business Analyst in the Payment domain and software development, with the majority of it being in the area of electronic payments. Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, business consulting, or related roles. Experience in management consulting or finance industry highly desirable. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful conclusions. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate financial concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL), and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Problem-Solving: Proven ability to identify problems, develop creative solutions, and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and build consensus towards common goals. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, project requirements, and client needs.
