Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a local primary school in South Gloucestershire on a full-time basis to start as soon as possible.About the roleThe successful Special Educational Needs TA will have a passion for supporting children in their academic and personal growth and be creative in their approach to engage children with their learning. The Teaching Assistant will be tasked with supporting individuals in a classroom setting and meeting the needs of children who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. The ideal TA will be proactive in communicating with and helping the classroom teacher and would be a motivated and caring person.About the schoolThe local primary school in Yate has a large site and grass playing fields to allow children to explore. Be passionate about supporting children’s life-long learning
Eager to support children who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
Have experience working with children or would be prepared to participate in our NTAP (National Teaching Assistant Program)
Hold a driving licence and have access to your own vehicle
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
to hold an Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service (child workforce or child and adult workforce)
