- Supervise and guide Claims Handlers to ensure adherence to agreed SLA’s and KPI’s.
- Approve claims settlements within allocated financial boundaries.
- Ensure team proficiency in policy wordings, internal guides and processes.
- Collaborate with clients to meet specific needs, attending review meetings as needed.
- Maintain accurate reserves and achieve a 1:1 closing ratio through diary procedure adherence.
- Manage Solicitors in litigated cases to ensure compliance with standards.
- Act as the main point of contact for any escalations and resolve complaints promptly.
- Ensure timely completion of annual appraisals, monthly 1-2-1 sessions and agreed development plans.
- Previous experience as a Claims Team Leader in a regulated environment, whilst it would be ideal if your experience is within Casualty Claims, we can consider those from any commercial claims background.
- Commitment to exceptional client service, with a clear understanding of best practices.
