- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs and learning styles of primary school students.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued, respected, and motivated to learn Arabic.
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and technologies to enhance the teaching and learning of Arabic language skills, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- Assess and monitor student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents/guardians, and other stakeholders to support the holistic development of students and promote a positive school culture.
- Integrate cultural and global perspectives into Arabic language instruction, fostering students' appreciation and understanding of Arabic-speaking cultures.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills, stay updated on best practices in Arabic language education, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Arabic language program.
- Teaching certification/license or equivalent qualification in Arabic language education.
- Native or near-native proficiency in Arabic language.
- Experience teaching Arabic language to primary school students, preferably in an international or bilingual school setting.
- Strong understanding of primary education pedagogy, curriculum development, and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and demonstrate cultural sensitivity and respect.
- Proficiency in English language is desirable.
- Familiarity with Omani educational standards and cultural context is an advantage.
