About the role:
Join my client's team as a Principal Performance Engineer, where you'll play a key role in providing performance testing services across various applications, technologies, and teams within our Enterprise Technology Software Engineering Domain.Your experience:
- 10+ Years of Performance Testing Experience required
- Extensive practical experience using the JMETER Performance test tool
- Working knowledge of Jenkins required
- AWS Experience (on services like EC2 / RDS / S3 / IAM / Secrets Manager) desirable
- Strong Programming experience in at least two of the following: Groovy, Bash, Java, and Python
- Use of Grafana / Influx DB for Performance test reporting
- Working experience of version control tools such as Bitbucket, GitHub
- Experience using Monitoring and Diagnostic tools such as Splunk and Datadog
- Experience leading cross-BU performance initiatives to drive enterprise-level goals forward
- Help teams embed integrated performance testing to support continuous integration
- Deliver Application based Performance testing ensuring scope is appropriately documented, performed, monitored, and performance issues effectively remediated
- Support Chaos Testing engagements, SRE Performance Governance Gateways, and Engineering Excellence Maturity Model Framework
- Continuously develop skills and coach other Sr. Engineers on the team
- Challenge the status quo ensuring continuous improvement of the Performance testing shared service
