- Conducting month-end financial closing activities, including
- Reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Posting adjusting journal entries to correct discrepancies.
- Reviewing and analysing financial transactions to identify errors or irregularities.
- Coordinating with other departments to gather necessary information and resolve discrepancies.
- Performing variance analysis between reporting periods.
- Preparing management reports, regulatory reports and financial statements in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Investigating anomalies and liaise with relevant internal and external parties, such as 3rd party fund administrators, to address issues in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Support investment-linked funds reporting requirements such as fund reports and factsheets.
- Accountancy/ Finance/ Business Administration or similar degree.
- Demonstrated interest in the investment/ finance industry, fund accounting or regulatory reporting.
- Knowledge of various investment asset classes, investment operations or fund accounting.
- Strong communication, writing and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
