Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a skilled Data Warehouse Engineer to join their team. As a Data Warehouse Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the data warehouse infrastructure to support the organization's data storage and retrieval needs. You will work closely with data engineers, database administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure the efficiency, reliability, and security of the data warehouse environment. This position requires a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and database technologies. Designing and implementing data warehouse infrastructure, including data models, ETL processes, and data integration workflows.
Collaborating with data engineers and other stakeholders to gather requirements and define data warehouse solutions.
Developing and maintaining ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse.
Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the data warehouse, including query performance and data loading processes.
Implementing data quality and data governance processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Working closely with database administrators to ensure the security and availability of the data warehouse environment.
Documenting data warehouse design, configuration, and processes.
Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices in data warehousing and data management.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data warehousing and ETL processes.
Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling, star schema, and data integration techniques.
Proficiency in ETL tools such as Informatica, SSIS, or DataStage.
Experience with SQL and relational databases, such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
Working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
Understanding of data governance and data quality concepts.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
