Job PurposeWe are looking for a Sourcing Manager to manage Capex and Energy POC reporting directly to the Head of Procurement.The successful candidate will Manage the strategic sourcing and tender process for the business as well as implementing and optimizing sourcing initiatives related to Capital Expenditure projects in an effective, transparent and professional manner according to Bridgestone’s procurement policy and procedures. The candidate will ensure that quality products are purchased at a competitive price and delivered on time to minimize any delays in production.Responsibilities:1. Strategic Sourcing and Tender ManagementDevelopment and execution of strategic sourcing strategy and plan for Capital Expenditure projects in alignment with company objectives and budgetary constraints.Conduct spend analysis and develop category and savings plans.Manage the end-to-end tender process.Ensure alignment with Bridgestone procurement policy, procedures, and regulatoryrequirements ensuring adherence to ethical and sustainable sourcing practices.Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry best practices to identify opportunities for cost savings, process enhancements, and innovation. 2. Savings ImplementationDeliver on the savings plan and track on results.Manage the sourcing process to ensure savings target is met.Understand and Manage TCO.Understanding of Incoterms, Exchange Rate, Forward Cover, etc.Negotiate and manage supplier Payment terms. 3. Supplier Relationship ManagementManage Pricing negotiations and Price Locks with suppliers according to policy and procedures.Manage Supplier lead times and performance according to policy and procedures.Develop supplier KPIs with stakeholders and cross functional teams.Ensure supplier performs according to KPIs and expectations to drive continuous improvement and mitigate risk. 4. Supplier Performance Management.Identify and qualify potential suppliers/vendors for CAPEX-related goods and services, conducting comprehensive supplier evaluations and performance reviews.Coordinate and ensure monthly supplier meetings are taking place.Manage and Report back on supplier performance on a monthly basis.5. Stakeholder ManagementEffective communication with Stakeholders.Manage effective cross functional teams throughout the sourcing process.Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Legal, to understand project requirements and ensure procurement needs are met effectively aligned with turnaround time. 6. Contracts ManagementNegotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to optimize value, quality, and delivery timelines.Ensure suppliers have contracts/SLAs in place following sourcing activities.Ensure Contracts are tracked and reviewed as required.Manage the contracts register and update all stakeholders.Ensure effective and measurable KPIs are included in contracts.Conduct regular check-in meetings with the team to ensure they are engaged.Requirements:Analytical SkillsExcellent CommunicationProject Management SkillsStrong and Effective NegotiationsStakeholder ManagementCustomer satisfactionSupplier ManagementEducation:BCOM/ Degree in Procurement /Accounting/Engineering/Strategy/Logistics/Supply Chain Management is a requirement.CIPS/SAPICS qualification an advantageProject Management qualification an advantageExperience in Manufacturing, Automotive, Industrial industry an advantageExperience in strategic sourcing and tender management a requirementExperience:Minimum of 5-7 Years’ experience in Procurement/ Logistics/Inventory ManagementMinimum of 5 Years’ experience in Capex and Energy POC sourcingProven track record of delivering measurable cost savings, process improvements, and value-added solutions in Capex and Energy POC procurementKnowledge of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices related to Capex and Energy POC procurement and supply chain managementProficiency in procurement software/tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba) and Microsoft Office SuiteManufacturing/industrial environment experience an added advantageAdvanced Excel experience will be an added advantageTechnically strong, analytical, strong negotiation and communication skillsCommodity Management experience will be an added advantageExperience in Imports and Oversees procurement will be an added advantage Why should you apply?We are passionate about our people and want to offer them the opportunity to develop and grow.You never stop learning.
