- First point of contact for HR-related queries within the region. Work closely with in-region and international counterparts to determine best route for resolution.
- Execute, track and resolve employee relations cases in-region: - disciplinary, grievance, sickness, and performance management. Work closely with global team and outside counsel to ensure alignment with policies, procedures, and applicable laws
- Advise on the grievance, disciplinary, and appeals processes for workplace wrongdoing, performance issues, and any other issues that employees may grieve as allowed in-region.
- Support the development of new streamlined robust ways of working in the local People team including the development of new HR policies, processes and supporting documents.
- Coordinate UK specific leave policies and requests where needed. Provide subject matter expertise to global benefits and leave policies.
- Lifecycle management including the in-person (London) onboarding process, probation period management and offboarding which includes conducting exit interviews.
- Work with the Senior HR Manager and the wider business, ensuring operational excellence across all aspects of the People Function.
- Support the management of immigration processes and facilitating international mobility for employees across all client groups of the business. Including initial immigration applications, renewals, and supporting existing employees who are relocating to international offices.
- Have 5+ years HR Generalist experience and are accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment with a solid understanding of UK employment law.
- CIPD Qualification or equivalent
- Experience directly working with managers on employee relations issues from grievances to performance management.
- Have a natural flare for creativity - you see a challenge or issue and your first thought is how to fix it.
- Cross functional collaborative team experience
- Previous experience within a US headquartered international Tech company would be advantageous
