We are seeking a skilled Windows Administrator to join our dynamic team in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. As part of our rapidly growing organization, you will play a pivotal role in automating server and workstation tasks, configuring and maintaining critical infrastructure components, and ensuring the security and reliability of our technical environment.Job Functions:
- Automate Windows server and workstation tasks using PowerShell and Python to streamline build, configuration, deployment, and administration processes.
- Configure and manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and CA services in a highly dynamic environment to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Implement an Infrastructure as Code approach using PowerShell DSC to facilitate system configuration and management.
- Enhance security infrastructure to fortify our defenses and enable rapid response to market demands.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and continuity plans, with a focus on maintaining gold copy backups of essential data.
- Manage trade and support workstations, including purchasing, provisioning, troubleshooting, and liaising with vendors.
- Oversee network equipment and servers, including cabling, replacement, and installation in our on-site server room.
- Document procedures to establish and promote best practices throughout the company.Job Requirements:
- IT-related education or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with Windows 10/11 and Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, Group Policies, and Certificate Services.
- Familiarity with Windows DNS, DHCP, and GPO, along with high-level troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with Windows-based tools and software troubleshooting, including Excel, Python, MySQL, and Anaconda.
- Basic knowledge or willingness to learn programming languages such as PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
- Hands-on experience with cabling, racking, and installation of servers and networking devices.
- Familiarity with monitoring automation tools like Icinga2 and automated provisioning tools such as PXE and Foreman is a plus.
- Understanding of server configuration automation tools like Ansible is advantageous.
- Strong general IT technical skills.
- This position requires on-site presence; remote work is not available.
