As our Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in enhancing Hästens’ performance by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing innovative solutions. The Business Analyst will be instrumental in conducting in-depth research and analysis to tackle business challenges, optimizing processes, and systems to drive efficiency and excellence, guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures, as well as developing financial plans and reports for stakeholders. The Business Analyst will also determine, safeguard, and follow up on best practices in our retail network while creating and following up on KPIs and other performance indicators.Primary Responsibilities
  • Data Collection: Collecting data from our sales databases, spreadsheets etc.
  • Data Cleaning and Preparation: Cleaning, organizing, and structuring raw data to ensure its accuracy and reliability for analysis.
  • Data Analysis: Utilizing statistical techniques and analytical tools to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights. This may involve data mining, data modeling, and hypothesis testing.
  • Interpreting Results: Interpreting data analysis results and translating them into actionable business recommendations or insights.
  • Report Generation: Creating clear and concise reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present findings to stakeholders, such as management and the sales departments.
  • Identifying Trends and Patterns: Identifying trends, patterns, and correlations within the data that can provide valuable business insights.
  • Forecasting and Predictive Analysis: Utilizing historical data to forecast future trends and outcomes, and performing predictive analysis to anticipate potential opportunities or risks.
  • Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as finance, sales and operations to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously refining analytical processes and methodologies to improve the accuracy and efficiency of data analysis.
  • Data Governance: Ensuring data quality, integrity, and security in accordance with company policies and regulations.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicating technical findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Problem Solving: Using data analysis to identify problems or inefficiencies within the business operations and proposing solutions to address them.
  • KPI tracking: Set up KPIs for marketing and sales and track this over time. Provide feedback to sales and marketing leadership on how to steer performance
Education, Skills, Responsibilities, and Experience * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, finance, accounting or other related field the employer deems sufficient.
  • 1-3 years relevant work experience.
  • Thorough understanding of methods of systems analysis and the principles, design, and procedural methods used in big data analysis.
  • Utilize data modeling techniques to identify operational efficiencies.
  • Develop and propose improvement plans for organizational performance.
  • Advocate for the adoption of new technologies or strategic approaches.
  • Develop and maintain retail playbook and audit adherence.
  • Experience in Salesforce AND SQL is a plus.
  • Proficient in English; proficiency in Swedish is an advantage.
  • Experience working with and analyzing retail is an advantage.
