B2C marketing’s key role is to ensure that more consumers in the U.K. start shopping on our app through strategic and impactful digital communications that aim to remove/reduce existing barrier of consideration.We run consumer facing day to day (organic and paid) digital communications as well as working alongside various functions across the business (e.g. campaigns/creators/shoptab/categories etc.), and support provide support during their key activity moments (new brand launches, platform sale campaigns etc.). Marketing team's contributions are essential to Tik Tok Shop's success in the U.K.We are seeking creative and strategic, hands on and result oriented Social Media Manager (B2C) who will report into B2C Marketing and Brand Lead to develop engaging and compelling content across various social media channels. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a keen understanding of consumer facing cross-channel content strategy, the ability to create content that cut through the algorithms and work with inspiring team of content creators. The Social Media Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand's narrative and ensuring consistency in messaging across social media channels.Roles & Responsibilities:
Content Strategy:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive (paid and organic) digital content strategy aligned with overall marketing and brand objectives across our owned social media channels based on consumer data insights.
  • Identify target audiences and tailor content to resonate with specific psychographics.
  • Based on performance, proactively revise the strategy to ensure it fits business needs as well as achieve key internal and external performance benchmarks.
Content Calendar:
  • Based on strategic content pillars, develop and execute SM content calendars, ensuring a consistent story flow of content across platforms.
Content Planning and Development:
  • Create and develop diverse and engaging content across all SM channels.
  • Ensure content is aligned with brand guidelines, tone of voice and resonates with the target audience.
  • Create content to engage users according to brand's objectives and content strategy.
  • Coordinate content production schedules and deadlines.
Integration:
  • Closely work with other functions/departments (Campaigns/Creators/Shoptab/Categories and within marketing etc.) to support across their key trading periods, new brand launches etc. ensuring content supports key messages and marketing objectives.
  • Closely work with graphic designers, videographers, and other creatives to ensure a cohesive and visually appealing content strategy while providing creative direction and input on visual elements.
  • Closely work with counterparts (UG, GBM, agency) on full funnel paid social strategy and execution across campaigns that deliver positive ROI and above industry benchmark.
Collaboration with Creators:
  • Work closely with wide range of Tik Tok Shop creators to develop engaging content that supports and delivers on content strategy.
Analysis and Reporting:
  • Monitor content performance on weekly/monthly bases across key metrics (engagement, reach, views, saves, open, click through rates, CPMs, CPCs etc.) as well as overtime positive change in consumer behavior.
Community management:
  • Timely manage inbound community requests across platforms.
Minimum Job Requirements:
  • Social Media guru: strategy planning, content creation/production and day to day content performance management, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse content types.
  • Knowledge and experience in running paid social campaigns that deliver above average performance rates (content boosting, spark ads etc.)
  • Ability to analyze data and take prompt/corrective actions that help improve content performance across social media channels.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Very organized and result driven, able to perform at a fast pace
Preferred Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Ability to work across various functions/departments and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Proficiency in content creation tools and platforms
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive go getter with energy and positive attitude who can adapt and work within constraints
