- Collaborating on and building the Customer Support and Repair department within a product area
- Leading a team of Customer Support and Repair professionals
- Addressing all technical inquiries and standard questions regarding applications and sales
- Regularly monitoring the processing status of all support tickets within the product area
- Planning and conducting training sessions for service technicians
- Performing in-house repairs and product-specific tests
- Creating service documents such as service manuals, maintenance logs, and videos
- Supporting subsidiaries and distribution partners with installations, commissioning, and on-site service/maintenance assignments
- Proactively providing technical support to the global sales and service network
- Occasionally conducting installations, commissioning, and service/maintenance assignments at customer sites
- Managing the improvement process by analyzing and generating error statistics and quality metrics, as well as evaluating feedback from various application areas of our measuring devices
- Completed technical education in mechatronics, electronics, mechanical engineering, or equivalent (e.g., vocational school, technical college, university)
- Several years of experience in service and customer interactions
- Leadership experience is advantageous
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Sense of responsibility and assertiveness
- Manual dexterity
- Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel
