- Partner closely with leaders and employees to establish credibility as a trusted advisor to influence and support key strategic and operational decisions
- Provide proactive and support for organizational planning and development initiatives that align the human resources agenda in support of business strategies and initiatives by ensuring we create a fair and inclusive culture that values unity, diversity, and belonging in our people, players, customers, and communities.
- Collaborate closely with our colleagues to understand our longer-term operating model, advise on strategic changes, and understand talent across the organization
- Understand market forces and business strategy, and translate those requirements to talent-related requirements
- Facilitate career management, development, performance, succession planning conversations
- Execute structured relationship management cadence to maintain relationships and communication channels
- Mitigate risk by ensuring appropriate escalation / investigation of performance, conduct and other ER related matters
- Work closely with Managers and employees to promote and increase employee engagement to enable a high-performing workforce to contribute to the company's strategic growth
- Support clients' coverage and identify emerging talent issues before they impact the clients strategy fulfillment
- Leverage employee feedback and/or interviews to maintain or build awareness of covered population, issues and challenges
- Ensure adherence to applicable employment legislation for the different islands in which we operate.
- Represent the company values and implement initiatives and programs to support organizational culture
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related business degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, training.
- 3-5 years progressive experience as an HR generalist and preferably at least 3 years of experience in international HR management working with developing countries, with proven experience in matrix organizations,
- Knowledge of multi-country specific HR laws across the Caribbean and full knowledge of legal implications of the employment relationship, managing remote, cross-cultural employees.
- Experience working with a service delivery model that includes shared services
- Demonstrated success working in a fast paced, matrix environment, with a track record of accomplishments with measurable business impact.
- Excellent interpersonal, communications and presentation skills. Ability to establish and sustain relationships at all levels of the organization.
