- Analyse structural drawings given by clients
- Implement formwork solution as per the instructions of the Sales Engineer, Team Leader or Senior Planning Engineer
- Propose the most economical and best technical solution
- Conduct basic static calculations and advanced structural analysis
- Produce material list, offer drawings and shop drawings
- Assist Sales Engineers with site visits and client presentation
- Coordinate the timely delivery of shop drawings as per instructions ideal
- Coordinate with clients for technical issues
- Coordinate with other involved departments
- Consideration of availability of material in the design stage
- Communication with Sales Department in absence of Head of Engineering
- Support formwork instructor and coordinate with site team
- Look for added value product and service opportunities in potential projects.
- Analyze project requirements, specifications, and drawings.
- Understand the scope, technical aspects, and constraints of the project.
- Reading contract document carefully to understand scope of Works(project).
- Influence project concepts in terms system selection, commissioning quantities, sequences and dependencies to satisfy and exceed project requirements.
- Create and present a realistic study according to the local market practice.
- Work with other design engineers to realize formulated concepts to produce added value.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to gather necessary information.
- Develop strategies and methodologies for tender submissions.
- Determine the most effective approach for project execution.
- Consider cost, schedule, and quality factors.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for the project.
- Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
- Create compelling presentations for tender submissions.
- Clearly communicate the proposed solution, benefits, and value proposition.
- Address any queries from potential clients during presentations.
- Assist the sales team in preparing tender documents.
- Participate in negotiations with clients
- Technical/Civil Engineering Qualification
- Methods engineering background
- 3D CAD and formwork knowledge
- Estimation and tendering skills
- Minimum of five years’ Construction and formwork engineering experience
- Solid communication skills in English
- Excellent communication and language skills
- Analytical and calculation skills
- High engineering logic
- Quality result oriented
- Ability to make decisions, take responsibility, delegate and deliver presentations
- Eager to learn and improve knowledge and skills
