Offer DescriptionSeeking a PhD Candidate to work at the interface of chemistry, nanotechnology, and chemical biology.- Opportunity to learn and work in a multidisciplinary group, at the Interdisciplinary Center for Chemistry and Biology - CICA of the Universidade da Coruña (UDC). CICA is a research center that aims to promote the advancement and excellence of basic and applied R&D in the chemical, biological and biomedical sciences, optimizing the scientific resources of the institution, enhancing the university's research capacity, and promoting the transfer of results to society.- Research work: Interdisciplinary collaborative project at the interface of peptide and supramolecular chemistry, nanotechnology, and chemical biology, involving the design of peptide-based building blocks to obtain hybrid superstructures for their potential application in biomedicine.Description:Research topic: “Preparation and characterization of hybrid superstructures” (Dr. Elena Pazos).Research Center: CICA ( ), Universidade da Coruña (Spain)Starting Date: Between September and October, 2024.Terms and conditions: The PhD contract is for three years.RequirementsResearch Field Chemistry Education Level PhD or equivalentSkills/QualificationsRequirements. Bachelor's degree in chemistry, nanoscience and nanotechnology, or related areas and academic rank higher than 8 (over 10).. Master's in chemistry, nanoscience and nanotechnology, or related areas already completed or to be completed during the current semester.. Candidates are expected to be interested in multidisciplinary work and motivated to learn from a variety of scientific fields..
