Job Description:We are seeking a Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk to support our finance team with a variety of accounting and clerical tasks crucial for the efficient handling of accounts payable transactions.Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and process invoices for accuracy, proper coding, and necessary approvals.
  • Match invoices with corresponding purchase orders and receipts.
  • Prepare and execute check runs, wire transfers, and ACH payments.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies.
  • Maintain updated vendor files and records.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities and accruals.
  • Address vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues promptly.
  • Perform data entry and ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
  • Support special projects and additional tasks as assigned by the finance team.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
