You are the first point of contact between Florida Beauty and all drivers over the road. Communication is crucial in this position as is proper documentation of all incidents. We must proactively monitor Truck, Trailer, and most importantly the driver. We ensure the safety of drivers by proactive decision making and promoting safe driving and awareness.[ ] Driver assist.
Get every call for the driver and help him with what he needsIf driver ask for fuel card, make sure his system is correct with all the information and proceed to activate the card.Provide money codes for checks lumers if neededMake sure driver understand any instruction you gave him.[ ] Tracking
Track all trucks first thing in morning to ensure fleet location.Check the truck of its location using tracking system Samsara, TK tracking. Only call the driver if necessary.Check the trailer temperature using TK Tracking systemSamsara. Call driver and ask if there are any discrepancies.Monitor truck and trailer alerts. All alerts and alarms are sent via email.
Check the deliveries of the day of and follow up on the previousfollowing day deliveries.Check on all pick up and deliveries ensuring there on time.If trucks are delayed, notify broker and update customer service and the empty list to reflect new appointment time provided.Check the temperature before the arrival using TK Tracking, SamsaraProvide and verify lumpers with driver and check Truckmate to verify It has been recorded accordingly.Report lumper via email to broker, provide receipts and request revised rate confirmation with lumper included.Confirm with drivers if there are any OSDR Over, Shortage, Damage, Rejected at the time of delivery. If so, please notify brokercustomer and wait for disposition.Have driver provide PODs via transflow or picture right after load is pickeddeliveredUpdate broker accordingly over email regarding their loadCheck trailer temperature using tracking system. Call driver if temperature is not matching bill of lading and ask broker to confirm loads temperatureIf any truck running late, immediately contact driverdrivers and send an email reporting reason of delay[ ] Local Deliveries releasesDispatchers are responsible to follow up and ensure the deliveries are made by local drivers.Dispatcher must assign and update system accordingly with truck and local driver assigned to complete the local deliveries[ ] Transfers
Monitor the truck and freight during transfer.Update system Truckmate properly with new truck driver reassiged with the load[ ] Accidents
All accidents should be reported and handled by safety department. However, if during weekendafterhours they are not available, please complete accident form in its entirety and give to safety, help the driver the more you can and contact Ari or Kristian from safety department.Follow any instruction they give you on order to follow safety procedures.If necessary, call a road service or towing serviceAsk the driver for a picture of the police report if applicable[ ] TruckTrailer Breakdown
Ensure the drivers are in a safe area and are able to talk.Identify the unit number and type.Track Truck and Trailer and confirm equipment exact location.Once you get full and clear diagnostic from driverdrivers, about the breakdown, you need to call Nadim or Carlos Vega to notify about the truck trailer issue, describe equipment troubleCall road side assistance Michelin or Thermo king depending on the scenarioCreate an email report notifying the Broker or customer owner of the load unless the issue is related with the trailer temperatureFollow up, provide ETA and make sure the unit gets fixed and rolling in a timely manner.
