- Plan and deliver dynamic and engaging dance and drama lessons that ignite students' creativity, confidence, and love for the performing arts.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves and explore their artistic talents.
- Teach a range of dance styles and techniques, from contemporary to ballet, and choreograph performances for school events and productions.
- Explore a variety of drama genres, styles, and techniques, incorporating improvisation, script work, and ensemble performance into lessons.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments
- Organize extracurricular activities, clubs, and performances to showcase students' talents and celebrate the arts within the school community.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development as performers and artists.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider community, promoting the value of dance and drama education
- Fully Qualified Teacher Status
- Qualification in Performing Arts, Drama, Dance or similar
- 3+ Experience Teaching Drama and/or dance students
- Ability to create a safe and supportive environment where students feel empowered to take risks and express themselves artistically.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs and interests of students with varying levels of experience and ability.
- Full time available from September 2024
