Are you ready to be part of something big?Position Summary:AutoNation Finance is AutoNation’s in-house Customer Financial Services solution for current and future AutoNation customers. Our technology teams are developing new financial platforms and digital capabilities to expand AutoNation Finance and strengthen our customer relationships.We are seeking an experienced Nortridge Loan System Developer. This position is responsible for managing our loan servicing system NLS. The role will require expertise with the inner working of NLS to make decisions and modifications based on business needs. Auto finance or related field experience a plus.Organizational Relationships:
  • Work with developers to integrate NLS with various systems.
  • Product stakeholders
  • Work as part of a scrum team: Developers, QA testers, Business Analysts, Data Analysts, Project Manager
  • Interact with Operation teams: Security, DevOps, DBA, Architecture, Infrastructure, PMO
  • IT Leadership: Director and Senior Director positions in IT organization
Job Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, business analysts, the technical application architect, and other developers to design and implement high quality code components that meet or exceed business requirements.
  • Generate design or specification documents including architectural, workflow or sequence diagrams that accurately capture end-user requirements while adhering to coding and software architecture best practices.
  • Analyze and evaluate technical dependencies on related internal or external systems to determine the best implementation possible within the time and resource constraints that currently apply.
  • Perform cost benefit analysis of available implementation alternatives to maximize short term productivity and long-term maintainability of the work product without sacrificing critical application requirements.
  • Create detailed timeline and duration estimates for the work effort required.
  • Present when required a detailed overview of the solution approach to technical leadership or the business stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Implement efficient and reliable software components and services.
  • Conduct unit and performance tests to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Support the QA team on automation and other scripting requirements.
  • Assist in the deployment of releases and troubleshooting of defects across environments.
  • Create consistent and accurate technical and end-user documentation of implemented applications.
  • Mentor less experienced team members in the use of sound development techniques and the optimal design of software solutions.
  • Perform other job-related functions as assigned.

  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ Years experience with Nortridge Loan System
  • Experience with Auto Finance strongly preferred
  • Extensive experience with MSSQL including SP, FN, VW
  • Demonstrate understanding of relational database system.
  • Experience with agile development tools, Azure DevOps preferred.
  • Experience with C#
  • Experience with C# Development IDE: Visual Studio, VS Code
  • Experience with SQL Server Integration Services
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP Integration
  • Experience with Scrum-based development methodology.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to travel approximately
5% between AutoNation work locations as required by work assignments and delivery schedules * Work with computers and other common office equipment
  • Work locations are in a corporate office environment with no special physical requirements beyond what is normally expected in a typical modern corporate office
