- Ensure the delivery of contractually committed services to carriers that are contained within our Carrier Services Agreements, whilst coordinating and collaborating with our global teams where appropriate
- Be the support local focal point of our relationships with relevant carriers, internally and externally.
- In conjunction with our Analytics teams provide carriers with performance analytics and feedback, identify resulting opportunities and areas for improvement, and build these into our agreements.
- Help drive our Data and Technology strategy that is pivitol to the evolution of our Carrier proposition.
- Lead and support development of our new Carrier Management value proposition, alongside supporting innovation in products, services and propositions more broadly - both internally and to carriers as part of the services provided.
- Act as an early warning system - recognised both internally and within the client to be the person of contact to deal with escalation, claims issues and strategic placement changes.
- Advocate for helping the client navigate WTW, understand structure and strategy including growth / sales strategy.
- Promoting greater knowledge sharing and awareness internally of the client’s overall relationship, trends, activities with WTW
- Develop a deep and qualified understanding of business strategy, underwriting appetite and capabilities.
- Building relationships throughout the organisation.
- Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with the Broking teams, taking responsibility for alignment and coordination with specific business units and functions
- Practical experience of broking and/ or underwriting processes and practices, working towards or holding relevant qualifications would be advantageous
- Project management/ organisation skills and experience and ability to deliver to timeframes
- Presentation and communication skills - ability to present clearly, translating concepts and information in a manner that is appropriate and accessible to all levels
- Self-reliance - self-starter, thinks around problems, creative and resourceful, able to prioritise and work under pressure
- People skills - upward and direct management, persuasion, negotiation, diplomacy, able to work within mixed and virtual teams, able to forge links and build networks with different WTW teams
- Analytical capability – comfortable to undertake or instruct the organisation, analysis and interpretation of structured and unstructured data and information to be used for decision-making
- Flexibility, ability to integrate within the team, and willingness to do what is needed to deliver high quality service to the carriers and internal stakeholders
- Preferably educated to a college level (or country equivalent) with at least 1-5 years industry experience
- Preferably with or studying towards professional qualifications, e.g. ACII
