THE ROLE: ? Work closely with the VP of Product to provide delivery estimates and manage tasks throughout the development lifecycle ? Own the overall software architecture of the solution and coordinate needs across DevOps, AI and Software Engineering ? Support and develop projects from requirements to design and release ? Ensure attention to quality, maintainability, performance and testing ? Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
? Keep our data separated and secure across national boundaries through multiple data centers and AWS regions ? Manage technical optimization for maximum speed and scalability ? Help shape company and engineering culture as an early-stage hire WHO YOU ARE: ? +12 years of development experience ? Strong coding skills in Javascript, Typescript ? Experience as a software architect ? Experience with exposure to data management ? Experience with NodeJS, Express and FastAPI ? Ability to work comprehensively with a variety of databases (Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
? Experience with agile methodologies (SCRUM framework) and Continuous Integration practices ? Real-world experience developing highly scalable solutions using micro-service architecture designed to democratize data to everyone in an organization ? Experience leading a team contributing to the entire stack (FE + BE) ? Degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience ? Ability to thrive in a highly demanding, entrepreneurial, and fast-paced environment ? Highly flexible, good tolerance for ambiguity, and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities ? A top performer with a proactive approach who has a "doer" & problem-solver mentality ? An exceptional team player with strong communication skills ? English proficiency is required (edited) COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS PACKAGE: The expected starting salary range for this position in Madrid is between €65,000 - €85,000.
Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets.
Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
