This is a full-time position that must work in Columbus, OH. No full-time telework is allowed.The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for supporting tasks on the contract related to the UCSA Network Infrastructure.Primary ResponsibilitiesEstablishes Network information requirements in the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale networking infrastructure (CAN, MAN, WAN).Designs architecture to include the software, hardware and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.Ensures that the network/transport layers of the common operating environment are compliant.Evaluates analytically and systematically problems of work flows and network usage, organization and planning and develops appropriate corrective action.Develop and deploy an UCSA regional presence solution that will enable the UCSA network to extend its logical boundary and provide a presence, both Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside CONUS (OCONUS), for other assets to be deployed within the UCSA network and security boundary.Perform all required network, system and crypto related administration of the UCSA Network as directed by the Government.Responsible for installing hardware (if Government waiver is approved), installing virtual components, installing servers, installing operating systems, installing software, uninstalling software, monitoring systems and processes, patching operating systems and software applications, installing network devices, configuring network devices, patching network devices, monitoring network devices, installing storage and database systems, patching storage and database systems, configuring and tuning.Servers as UCSA Lead Network Engineer when required.Provides daily supervision and direction to staff.Basic QualificationsMA/MS degree and 15 years of prior relevant experienceMust be a US Citizen; Active Secret government clearance requiredIAT II or higher (i.e., Sec+ certification)Extensive Juniper experienceF5 experienceExperience with Defensive Cyber Systems and OperationsExperience with DISA Defensive Cyber PlatformsFamiliarity with SAFe AgileOriginal Posting Date: 2024-05-09While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range: Pay Range $108,550.00 - $196,225.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
