SEMH (Social Emotional & Mental Health) TeacherA small inclusive educational provision in the London Borough of Hounslow is currently advertising for a teacher in SEN. The school caters for primary and secondary aged children that have either suffered a traumatic experience or struggling to cope with mainstream education due to additional learning needs such as ADHD or other social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. Each child has been directed to this small school via their local education authority as a matter of urgency so that they may receive a detailed and personalised curriculum.Teacher specification:To teach at this school you must have a good understanding of social emotional and mental health difficulties and how to implement education and care to young people with this need. You will need to have a positive approach as well as being patient with good behaviour management. It is desirable to have numeracy and literacy experience however if you have a specialist subject area that you are passionate about then this will also be considered.You will benefit from:
