Page Personnel are currently working with a reputable business, based in Sheffield, who are looking for a Payroll Manager to join their growing team on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for managing a team of 3 members of staff and training and developing the team to success.As a Payroll Manager, your main duties and responsibilities will include the following:

Managing a team of 3 payroll administrators, supporting with monthly & weekly payroll and expenses

Training and developing staff to ensure they perform in the most efficient way

Regular 121 and training with staff

Being an expert in payroll legislation / governance including tax

Dealing with escalations and complex payroll queries

Producing reports

Data analysis

Many other adhoc payroll responsibilities

Experience working in an end to end payroll position for a number of years
Strong understanding of payroll legislation and laws
Ability to train and develop a team to greatness
