The FATF has 38 countries and two regional organisations as members. The FATF Secretariat is located at the OECD.The FATF Secretariat is seeking a professional to manage its information technology (IT) and digital communications, in line with the FATF's Communications Strategy. The incumbent will manage the work of a small team of publications and IT experts, ensuring effective work processes, optimal communication deliverables and use of communication platforms for FATF Staff, Delegations and Global Network Users. The IT and Digital Communications Manager will monitor trends and advise on future business needs/technical requirements to help achieve the FATF's objectives. He/She will optimize the use of digital tools to improve FATF work processes.   • Manage the work of a small team of publication, communications and IT experts, by promoting staff wellbeing, development of skills, ensuring effective work processes, optimal communication deliverables and use of communication platforms for FATF Staff and Global Network Users.
  • Stay abreast of trends and advise on future business needs/technical requirements to help achieve the FATF's objectives and improve FATF work processes.
  • Work closely with the Strategic Communications and Media Relations Manager, particularly on publications and the website, and provide advice, back-up and support on communications issues as required.
2. Publications, editorial and visual design oversight
  • Oversee the timely publication of FATF outputs by establishing dissemination plans, providing editorial oversight and consistency in FATF reports.
  • Review and edit reports, executive summaries, policy briefs, brochures, press releases, letters and other communications materials for both web and print, to improve their readability and ensure the coherence with FATF Strategic communications plan.
  • Work with FATF's Strategic Communications and Media Relations Manager to ensure effective outreach of FATF products.
  • Develop the FATF visual identity and ensure correct application in all FATF outputs.
  • Contribute to the design and support the translation strategy implementation in line with the priorities for the Global Network and FATF's resources.
3. Digital communications oversight
  • Take responsibility for the FATF website and other audience engagement platforms for both content and IT updates and developments. Ensure consistency and coherence in the messages and content produced, in line with the FATF Communications Strategy and visual identity.
  • Monitor the FATF website and ensure it remains updated to be an effective tool in communicating the FATF's Strategic Priorities. Establish and manage key performance indicators and review and interpret analytical reports.
  • Maintain and oversee FATF's online document dissemination systems.
4. IT and information management
  • Explore opportunities to innovate and enhance work processes and provide input on cross-secretariat projects and activities.
  • Strengthen FATF's internal knowledge management and efficient use of resources by developing and implementing strategies to produce, disseminate and archive FATF corporate information.
  • Contribute to FATF's IT strategy, to reduce costs and improve benefits and overall efficiency. Identify potential confidentiality and security risks and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
  • Provide advice on online training content, promotional material and the e-learning platform to ensure correct functioning, user administration and reporting.
QualificationsIdeal Candidate ProfileAcademic Background
  • An advanced university degree in communications, journalism, marketing, IT or any other relevant field.
Professional Background
  • Five years of experience in the communications, publications and/or IT field.
  • Experience in managing teams and stakeholder management.
  • Proven understanding of project and process management. Experience in planning and coordinating projects and studies in the IT area.
  • Ability to initiate and manage a continuing editorial process and to conceptualise and execute the online packaging of content.
  • Excellent knowledge of document and project lifecycles, publishing constraints, desktop publishing, content organisation, writing and editing skills.
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills.
  • Experience in visual design would be an advantage.
Tools
  • Excellent knowledge of the tools and applications in use at the OECD to be able to lead, advise, and train external and internal stakeholders.

Contract Duration
  • Two-year fixed term appointment, with the possibility of renewal.
  • Depending on level of experience, monthly salary starts at 7,436 EUR, plus allowances based on eligibility, exempt of French income tax.
