Through offices across Europe, North and South America and Asia, CACEIS offers a broad range of services covering execution, clearing, forex, securities lending, custody, depositary and fund administration, fund distribution support, middle office outsourcing and issuer services.We are hiring Operations Officers to join the Custody Team, working on Corporate Actions.Job ResponsibilitiesAnnounce to client incoming events for which their choice or action is requestedExecute corporate action events in order to reflect a correct safekeeping position in our recordsProvide updates on any inquiry received from external clientsCollect the clients choice for optional events and process them accordinglyRespect deadlines from issuers and custodiansProcess payment message as per information collectedMonitor carefully activity dashboard to prioritize items and maintain it in a clean statePosition locationGeographical areaAmerica, CanadaCityMontreal, QuebecCandidate criteriaMinimal education levelBachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalentAcademic qualification / Speciality
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related experience

  • Experience in a Global custody or related financial institution preferable but not required
Required skillsIdeally 12+ months of financial services experience within [Back office operation / settlement / corporate actions, etc.]Securities knowledge (Could be from CSC and or banking industry experience)Excel (Pivot tables, Chart manipulation, Basic Formulas)Attention to detailKnowledge of SWIFT messages type (especially 56X for corporate action and/or 54X for settlement)
