- The LVN will practice under the direction/supervision of a Registered Nurse/Physician.
- The LVN will assist in the determination of predictable healthcare needs of consumers.
- The LVN will perform nursing services as assigned and within the scope of practice for the Licensed Vocational Nurse under the Texas Nurse Practice Act.
- $45,000.00
- Provides direct nursing care and/or coordinates the delivery of psychiatric services.
- General duties include assisting physicians in monitoring client's response to medications, ensuring physician orders are followed.
- The LVN provides medication education to clients and their families.
- The nurse screens medication related phone calls for the physician.
- The nurse in conjunction with the clinic team, ensures that the physician has the proper documentation and treatment information to deliver services.
- Duties are carried out in accordance with nursing licensure standards and established policies and procedures of Community Healthcore.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensed in the state of Texas to practice as a LVN.
- Current valid driver's license in state of residence.
- Current Health Care Provider CPR training certification.
- Must demonstrate knowledge and applied competency in standards of nursing practice for Licensed Vocational Nurse.
- Ability and strength to sit, bend, and reach during an 8 to 10 hour day.
- Able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds.
- Sensory acuity sufficient to evaluate, treat, and monitor patient needs and maintain accurate records.
- Ability to physically perform SAMA.
- Fine motor skills sufficient to legibly document or communicate.
- Routine 8 to 10 hour shifts with weekends off.
