Risk Engineer Manager

• Undertake loss control / risk management activities in accordance with Chubb guidelines.
• Complete assessment of risk to insured properties (i.e. fire, natural perils etc.) for internal and external customers based on Chubb standards. This may include:
• Physical site surveys;
• Review of information provided by third parties;
• Information collected from internet, subscriptions to loss preventation standards, phone / video calls, and site meetings with external customers.
• Provides engineering support and risk evaluation services for Underwriting in order to manage renewal accounts and new business opportunities.
• Account management, including scheduling and monitoring of site visits, quality assurance, and development of relationships with customers.
• Remain abreast of current loss control and engineering best practices, including identifying emerging risks and claims trends.
• Work in conjunction with others on special projects to improve process efficiency and enhancement of services.
• Develop subject matter expertise in a designated area.
• Marketing of Chubb Risk Engineering Services.

• Engineering or physical science degree with post-degree work experience, preferably involving engineering roles at industrial operations, facility maintenance, fire engineering / fire protection system design or building compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse a technical issue, summarise any findings and identify any corrective action required.
• Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Excellent written and spoken English language skills are essential.
• Effective communication and work closely with Underwriters, clients and Chubb Worldwide personnel.
• Good technical report writing skills. The ability to write clearly and concisely is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously when required and develop internal and external relationships and set appropriate priorities in line with overall company and business unit strategy and goals.
• A willingness to travel to service client locations throughout Indonesia, and further afield if required.
• At least 5 years insurance industry experience in risk engineering / loss control.
