As the Product Manager, you will play a critical role in defining the strategy for Digital and Local Payment Methods across Europe. Partnering with the peer Product Managers and Scrum teams to deliver Product and Technology strategies to run, grow and modernize our payment processing ecosystem.Reporting to the Head of Platform (Product Europe), you will support, refine, and prioritize the product backlog and create epics and acceptance criteria that align with product strategy. Your ability to collaboratively develop and evolve a product strategy and articulate a product vision that supports outcomes, value, and prioritization of work will be key to your success in this role.With your solid understanding of the Lean/Agile mindset, you will work closely in a first-hand style with the wider organization, Product Managers, and development teams, addressing prioritization needs, supplying real-time feedback, and answering questions on an ongoing basis. Your strong leadership and people skills, including the ability to collaborate with and empower teams, will enable you to lead cross-functional teams to find dependencies and align the streamlined delivery of initiatives.What can you expect from the role?Partners closely with customers (internal and external), the business line(s) and Agile teams to drive the evolution of the assigned product(s).Maintain, refine, and prioritise the product backlog; creates Epics and acceptance criteria and prioritizes the roadmap to ensure work focuses on those with maximum business value that align with product strategy.Acts as primary liaison between the business and Agile teams, ensuring the teams understand vision for the products.Work closely in a direct style with Product Owner including addressing daily prioritization needs, supplying real-time feedback, and answering questions on an ongoing basis.Lead cross functional teams to find dependencies and align the streamlined delivery of initiatives.Works with Product Owner to set release dates, determine customer value and agree release to market, understand trade-offs between schedule, scope and budget and communicates this information to the organization.Employs product management practices and tactics including customer research, data and analytics, and market research.Oversees the evaluation of market trends, product development, product position and pricing philosophy.Recommends enhancements to product line to stimulate sales and meet aims.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience6+ years of experience in a payment, acquiring or banking related role.Preferred Skills/Experience:Advanced experience with Payments, including Local and Digital Payment Methods in Europe.Experience integrating next generation payment methods into an existing acquiring or banking environment.Ability to collaboratively develop and evolve a product backlog.Ability to develop and articulate a product vision that supports outcomes, value, and prioritization of work.Solid understanding of the Lean/Agile mindset.Demonstrated leadership and people skills including ability to collaborate with and empower teams.Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.Proficient data analysis skillset to aid in the identification of key requirements to deliver a robust and scalable solutions.Standard industry certifications such as Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) desired.If there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our .Benefits:We offer an exciting, fast-paced and diverse working environment with employees of many different nationalities.
