Junior Accounts Payable Assistant

• Conducting data processing tasks within the accounts payable department.
• Providing data processing and administrative support for the dispatch and stock control department.
• Processing and matching Goods Received Notes.
• Inputting purchase invoices into accounting software packages.
• Undertaking general reception duties.
• Assisting with accounts receivable tasks during periods of high workload, including processing sales orders and invoices.
• Performing ad hoc data entry and reporting duties.
• Handling scanning and filing tasks.
• Providing assistance to other departments requiring support in the accounts payable area.

• Demonstrated aptitude and interest in finance.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient telephone etiquette.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Effective time management abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel and keyboard skills.
• Prior experience in a busy office environment is advantageous.
• Experience in a FMCG environment would be beneficial.
