All these things come together at King's Cross to make it unique, exciting, and really quite special.Our security role isn't for the faint hearted, it breaks the norm and requires a unique person to drive this service, represent a globally recognised brand and lead an empowered, professional, and energetic team across the entire Estate. Think security meets a host mentality.King's Cross is all about people and this position will be paving the way for personality, punctuality, and vigour.Duties:
  • Break relief for all building positions (Fire Command Centre, Front of House, Loading Bay)
  • Complete internal and external patrols, reporting any hazards or concerns to appropriate management
  • Complete daily check logs and other paperwork as required
  • Monitor calls and emails when on static positions
  • Investigate any fire alarm activations within the building and support any subsequent evacuations
  • Meet and greet visitors, staff, and other occupiers of the building
  • Deal with conflict in an appropriate manner if required
About You:In this position you will need to be friendly and smart as you are the first point of contact to all who enter the premises. You will also need to be of good physical health in order to complete regular patrols to a high standard.To be successful in this role you will hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence and have a good level of English both written and spoken. You will also need to be customer focused with the ability to remain calm in emergencies and dealing with customers. The ability to work in a team is also essential, along with the ability to work unsupervised.Additionally, you will have a competent level of IT skills.
