- KPI and/or main deliverables
- CPCL (component prototype checklist) full implementation during Prototyping phase
- Suppliers' evaluation and processes audits scores and audit closure on time
- Performed Safety Visits at suppliers side
- SNCRs management (8D closure time, CCS closure)
- PPAP full approval on time
- Participate to suppliers mapping for new commodities
- Join suppliers audits for new potential suppliers to be added in the supply base
- Qualify new suppliers through suppliers evaluation audits
- Train and develop suppliers to keep or bring them to expected PO quality level
- Participate actively to the construction of the supply base for New Energies and to the Commodities strategies
- Arrange audits for periodic re-certification of suppliers according to the regulation of the field delivered by the supplier
- Contribute to supplier selection for new business award (including POC - Proof of Concept - and innovation phase) and ensures that all essential documentation is available (deviation list signed, planning, Supplier Quality Manual approved, etc…)
- Define and explain the Quality requirement to the supplier: management of prototypes, PPAP requirement, audits requirement…
- Participate actively to the technical reviews with suppliers (CTS review, 2D approval…)
- Attend kick-off meeting with PLASTIC OMNIUM team and suppliers
- Present and establish APQP to new suppliers.
- Report periodically the progress of components validations
- Report risks linked to non-respect of Quality, Cost & Timing of the project
- Issue Development SNCRs and track the corresponding action plans
- Track with suppliers the advancement of the parts PPAP.
- Work together with Quality & Engineering teams to ensure all specifications (standards, CTS, etc…) are considered in PPAP requirements.
- Participate to components drawings reviews.
- Alert Purchasing team and Project Manager in case of significant gap related to implementation of quality tools at supplier site vs commitment in supplier's planning at award.
- Arrange the process audits and measure, during the audit, the gaps versus documents provided for PPAP and ensure corrective action plans are implemented and measure their efficiency
- Approve, share and store the Quality and PPAP files according to PLASTIC OMNIUM policy
- Receive, approve, and share the Initial Samples
- Share a convergence plan for Quality documentation and PPAP together with the Program Buyer
- Ensure smooth transfer from development phase to serial phase with the plant team.
- Defining the requirement for the incoming inspection instructions (frequency, method, sampling size) together with the incoming inspection / plant Quality team.
- Monitor components quality after SOP (claims, suppliers audit)
- Report supplier performance monthly with at least basic KPIs (PPM, SNCR, 8D, SMQR)
- Alert Purchasing & Quality management in case of significant quality issue
- Starting continuous improvement workshops at suppliers
- Providing Suppliers' trainings about PO New Energies process and requirements
- Tracking the “worst scored suppliers” improvement action plan
- Be source of proposal for internal purchasing procedures improvement
- Knowledge / Qualification
- Master's degree (Quality/ Mechanical/ Electronics)
- Certified process auditor (example: VDA 6.3)
- Driving license
- Previous Experience (If relevant)
- 5 years' experience in Quality area (preferably in the automotive industry as Development Supplier Quality)
- Key technical competencies
- In-depth knowledge of Quality tools (APQP, Problem solving, FMEA, Control plan, continuous improvement…) and quality standards (VDA 6.3, ISO 9001, IATF 16949)
- Excellent understanding of automotive requirements (understanding of railway/ aviation industries requirements is a +)
- Ability to read drawings, knowledge of GD&T principles.
- Fluency in foreign language(s) business level, English is a Must, German is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and prioritize tasks to meet department objectives with timely manner.
- Master pack office and SAP
- Have to understand the impact of his/her activities on the quality objectives (services & products) and understand the potential risks of a non-compliance on the products designed and delivered by Plastic Omnium New Energies Services to its customer.
