- Lead research efforts and develop innovative technologies that provide competitive advantages in our products.
- Participate in technology strategy planning that helps fulfill the company's objectives.
- Take ownership of legacy algorithms used in the current products in order to provide necessary updates and ensure continued improvement.
- Explore emerging technologies and assess their potential applications within the company.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional units to ensure a smooth progression and seamless integration of developmental technologies from inception to commercialization.
- Work with cross-functional units in both research and product development that aligns with business priorities.
- Provide guidance and share insights to help team members to overcome challenges, foster confidence, and achieve their goals.
- Conduct and oversee projects, and effectively communicate project status within function as well as across functions.
- Education and Experience:
- MSc or PhD in a relevant technical field, e.g., acoustics, audio signal processing, physics, mathematics, computer science, hearing science, or other related majors.
- At least 8 years' experience in acoustical-mechanical design for consumer audio system/device with proven record.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas with proven record: room acoustic, sound field control, metamaterial, acoustic instrument design.
- Experience with applied AI/ML in acoustic design is a plus.
- Software Development Skills:
- Proficiency in acoustic modeling software (e.g., COMSOL, ANSYS).
- Proficiency in Python or Matlab or C/C++.
- Familiarity with common software engineering practices, e.g., structured approach towards coding, version control.
- Additional Requirements:
- Be self-motivated, take initiative, and drive to successful outcomes.
- An analytical and goal-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and collaborative abilities.
- Network and Data communication skills.
- Implementation and project experience.
- Customer service experience.
- Interest in Sustainability and EcoDesign.
- Be willing to travel up to 15%, domestic and international travel.
- Be willing to work in an office in Denmark.
