April 2024About the roleThe role will be to assist and support in Key Stage 3 & 4 classes either as an assistant or delivering pre-set work in the absence of the teacher. You do not need to hold a teaching qualification, but must demonstrate that you have previously worked with children in any previous role (youth worker, sports coach, support worker, voluntary roles etc.)Training can also be provided to help develop behaviour management techniques to use in the classroom.About the schoolPositions at SEN and specialist schools across the Blackpool and surrounding areas.RequirementsTo be considered for the role of SEN School Learning Co-Ordinator you will:
- Be degree qualified
- Have a high level in literacy and numeracy
- Have a flexible approach to work and be able to think on your feet
- Be confident and have a positive approach that engages students in their learning
- Have excellent classroom management skills
- Excellent daily rates paid weekly by our in-house Payroll team using the Pay As You Earn (PAYE) system.
