Come Innovate Motion with usAs Mechatronics Engineer you will play a crucial role in the systems engineering department, supporting global project teams. System design, system architecture, requirement handling, system and component testing and customer contact are part of the daily business, leading to the creation of highly integrated mechatronic systems. You will be part of a cross-functional team, focusing on the integration of hydraulic systems for the automotive industry by combining oil-pumps with brushless motors, controllers, software, and additional components depending on the target application. Contribute to the growth of the business by assisting in the continuous improvement effort of processes, design, analysis and testing through bench and vehicle integration. Ensure a high quality and customer focused service to the business concerning the responsibilities listed below.Your responsibilities will be to:Develop mechatronic systems according to the V-Model in compliance with automotive standards with focus on electronics and software.Requirement Anlysis:Understand system requirements with focus on motor, electronics and software subsystemsDefine sub-systems and interfacesCoordinate with global expert teamsSystem Development:Design and develop systems and system architecturesCoordinate sub-systems and integration stepsSystem IntegrationCollaborate with global teams to integrate hydraulics, electronics and softwareEnsure seamless integration of sub-systemsTesting and Validation:Support in defining the testing strategy and scopeSupport on system sub-system and integration levelCollaboration:Work closely with customer and inter-company development teamsCoordinate interfaces and collaborationOur requirements :Undergraduate's degree in in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Embedded systems, Mechatronics or related fieldsExtensive knowledge and experience with electromechanical systemsExperience with BLDC motor controller HW design and circuit analysisExperience with microprocessors for BLDC control applicationsExperience with CAN, LIN communication protocolsKnowledge of Functional Safety, Cyber security is a plusKnowledge of V-Model development processes and ASPICE is a plusPractical experience with electronic test equipment is a plusPractical experience with Vector Hardware is a plusSolid experience in common development tools (e.g. Matlab, Simulink)Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g. Doors, Helix) is a plusQualifications:Excellent team player with "can do" and “hands on” attitudeExcellent communications and problem solving skillsExcellent understanding of physical principlesAbility to set and follow own milestonesLanguage Skills:Proficient in English (both spoken and written)What we offer :Johnson Electric, Stackpole offers talented people like you the opportunity to grow professionally and personally, surrounded by some of the most dedicated, innovative, and entrepreneurial colleagues you will find anywhere.
