Are you a student, parent or someone who is looking for flexible working?About the roleWe are looking for either experienced Teaching Assistants or individuals who are new to the classroom and looking to gain experience in a rewarding sector. We are looking for staff that are happy to pick up ad-hoc shifts and over sickness, planned absences and other.This is a great opportunity for someone that is looking for daytime work on the days they are free. It could be 1 day a week or 4 days a week, you have the complete flexibility to choose.About the schoolOur clients are all SEND schools across Bristol and South Gloucestershire and they range from 2 years old to 19 years old. There will be plenty of chances to work in primary or secondary ages and support children with either: Autism, learning disabilities, challenging behaviour, mental health and attachment disorder.The schools we work with are incredibly supportive and have a great system for agency staff so you will be very welcomed and supported.RequirementsTo be considered for the role of Part-time Teaching Assistants you will:
  • Be available from 08:30 - 15:30 on the days you mark as free.
  • Have a genuine desire to support children with special needs and learning disabilities.
  • Hold a drivers licence or be easily able to commute across Bristol.
  • Show resilience and be proactive in your work. No day is the same.
  • Be able to work in a team and individually.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Relevant experience as a Teaching Assistant / Support Worker or a strong desire and keen interest to gain experience.
