As a Connections Coordinator at UK Power Networks, you will be integral to managing customer service procedures for connection requests. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical infrastructure projects and ensure the smooth coordination of operations.Role and Responsibilities:
The role offers a diverse range of responsibilities tailored to the strengths and expertise of the successful candidate. Key duties include:
  • Conducting front-end tasks such as quoting
  • Managing back-end responsibilities including scheduling, booking site visits, and processing payments
  • Liaising with customers and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds
  • Scheduling work dates and conducting follow-ups
  • Collaborating effectively with councils, engineers, and other utility companies
Requirements:
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • Familiarity with SAP (preferred but not essential)
  • Proactive and able to work under pressure
  • Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Flexibility to work on a rota basis (one week 8-5, the other week 9-5 Monday to Friday)
