Assistant General Manager - Beijing Nova (Based in China)

• Develop and execute project plans and timelines to ensure adherence to set targets;
• Collaboration with different stakeholders including Nova Head Office and its business units in China to ensure seamless communication and alignment of project activities;
• Leveraging his/her expertise in the China insurance market to maintain strong relationships with the insurance partners there and to search for suitable partners in future including insurance brokers and insurance companies in new provinces and cities where Nova is not involved before.
• Serve as the key contact point of our JV partner, fostering open and effective communication channels;
• Collaborate with the JV partner to identify areas of improvement and implement necessary changes to enhance project outcomes.
• Proactively identify potential business opportunities, develop and implement strategic plans.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, major in Insurance will be an advantage;
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years’ experience in the insurance industry, preferably broking experience in international brokers servicing large corporate accounts;
• In-depth knowledge of the China insurance market, including its regulatory framework, market players and customer behavior;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a strategic thinker;
• Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels in the company and with various external business contacts in an articulate and professional manner;
• Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English.
